EBIZPLATFORM was built to handle the challenges of managing and syndicating product and fitment data for manufacturers and their partners.
Having built web sites for manufacturers and merchants for years, both Brian Miesbauer and Chris Leebelt at EBIZPLATFORM, realized that the biggest issue was finding and sourcing good product data.
It was a tangled mess. What we found is that a customer would possibly have a spread sheet of all their information, but as soon as a new product came out, it would come out through an email, or a separate spread sheet or a different spread sheet so each time we were getting new product information, it was coming in a different format which required more time on our end to figure out what it was, where, when, how to get it up on the web site quickly. It was very labor intensive and terribly inefficient.
Also the biggest issue we found as well was the solutions out there today were meant for what we call “under the hood”—parts. However, when you sell accessories, there is a lot of other data that’s needed to correctly configure the product. For example, there can be a latch cut-out, or a sensor on the dash board. These are data points that weren’t handled before that with EBIZPLATFORM we can now handle very efficiently.
This platform will allow all manufacturers of these custom fitting accessories to get their data up to speed right away so they get ahead of their competition by getting their product to market quicker and it will become standard for everybody, allowing customers to find what they need quickly and easily. We have a slogan that says it all: Product data to market in milliseconds, not months. Plus everyone gets that data in real time. All this means the customer can have the confidence to place that order and get the right accessory the first time, virtually eliminating wrong orders and returns.
